It's
How many Driving Lessons will I need?
How many driving lessons do you think I'll need?
- Once we pass our driving test reality goes out the window
- OK! So in reality I had "40 odd" driving lessons! And passed on my second attempt
- But, that doesn't sound too good in the Pub on a Friday night
- How about halving the number. Lets say 27 driving lessons
Wait a minute though someone's just said they only had 20 lessons! So I'm sure I must have had
only 15!
- Hold on!
- Someone else has just said they had 10!
- I'm going to look a complete idiot if I tell the truth
- "Wow! I only had 5 lessons"
And we all know someone who thinks they had 3 lessons before passing the driving test first
time, with glowing praise from the examiner
- Or was it 2 lessons?
- One person told me he learned to drive by driving to Brighton and back
- He'd never been in a car before and he taught himself the manoeuvres during the journey
- And he passed the test first time
So it's going to be difficult to believe me when I say you'll need at least 40 hours if you've
never driven before
- But then I would say that, wouldn't I?
- But the Driving Standards Agency says it too
